Calendar cover with text, “2020 Amazon FBA seller calendar”

This one-page calendar is a handy resource that every Amazon FBA seller should have at their fingertips. It includes holidays, important dates, FBA inventory deadlines, and links to resources to help you drive sales each quarter.

Peak Shopping Seasons

Mid-July is when Prime Day has historically been held, but 2020 was certainly different. Amazon pushed Prime Day to October, kicking off the holiday shopping season early. That certainly leaves Prime Day 2021 a bit unpredictable, but Amazon sellers can capitalize on so many shopping events in addition to Prime Day and major Q4 holidays. Be sure to plan ahead for launching your promotions for each season, Single's Day and other holidays you may not have thought about.

Don't Miss Important Inventory Deadlines

It's crucial that you plan ahead for inventory deadlines. FBA storage limits update quarterly based on your Inventory Performance Index. An IPI score of 500 means you are on track for unlimited storage. This calendar includes IPI check-in date reminders and access to our IPI checklist that includes recommended tasks to help you improve your score.

While the dates for Prime Day may not be as predictable in 2021, we know that sellers are only given a few weeks notice. Amazon typically announces the event about 2-3 weeks prior, so its best to anticipate that this major eCommerce shopping day will be in early July, and be prepared to send in your inventory in June.

This calendar also includes advice on when to order inventory to avoid any delays with the Chinese New Year.

Quarterly Planning

Everyone knows January is a good time to reflect on the previous year and set goals to maximize success in the new year. But, did you know January is also a great time for Amazon merchants to increase seller feedback during the Feedback Frenzy?

Fourth quarter may be months away, but there are plenty of things you can do in Q2 and Q3 to set your Amazon business up for a successful Q4. Use this calendar to access tips on how to plan ahead for a killer Q4.
