MarketScout is a fantastic tool. It’s easy to use, and you can put it into practice immediately. Basically, I use it for reconnaissance. You really can’t look up 10,000 or 30,000 SKUs manually. It’s hard to do even ten. But it all comes down to your strategy. The data is as useful as your strategy is effective.
Fernando Lulli, FBA Seller
We couldn’t believe that we had never known about it [MarketScout] before. It saves us so much work, because I did it all—working through the products and taking each item one by one and pasting into that search bar. It would take hours and weeks to go through catalogs because it’s just too much work. The first time we did it on MarketScout and five minutes later it was all done, my husband said, ‘Oh my, this will make our lives much easier!'
Eliana, Amazon Seller
Your Customer Support (in particular, support from Joanna L) is consistently outstanding! On several occasions, she went out of her way to make sure that my requests were taken care of. She is knowledgeable, generous, and considerate. This speaks volumes for the way that your company values and treats your customers. As a loyal customer, I thank you!

MarketScout is an online research tool that provides competitive intelligence about Amazon products. By using MarketScout, sellers can quickly and affordably gain data-driven insights for the items that they are considering stocking. Competitor pricing, estimated margins, number of FBA sellers, and Amazon product sales rank are just a few examples.
Selling on Amazon is highly competitive, which can lead to low margin sales without the right tools. An Amazon product research tool, like MarketScout, provides a real-time snapshot of each ASIN, UPC, or EAN before you stock up. Source smarter and back your stocking decisions with live, actionable data from the Amazon marketplace.
Smart sellers rely on data to make informed sourcing decisions. Manually collecting data from Amazon listings, however, is time-consuming and prone to error. MarketScout eliminates copy-and-paste and delivers reliable sourcing insights in minutes. Upload hundreds or thousands of ASINs all at once and get more time back in your day.
MarketScout provides data as of the moment you make the request. The data is based on the most recent available data from Amazon, which makes insights from MarketScout highly accurate.
Yes, all MarketScout reports can be downloaded and saved as a CSV file. CSV files are compatible with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other systems.
Using the provided MarketScout template, simply enter your list of ASINs, UPC numbers, and/or EANs in the first column and item costs in the second column. Save your work and upload the file as a new batch. Your lookups will begin automatically, and you’ll receive a summary report within a few minutes.
Yes, as long as the item is on Amazon, a list of UPCs or EANs will pull the associated ASINs. Sellers should always cross reference the UPC that they are considering with the GS1 database.
MarketScout is available with pay-per-use pricing and no monthly fees or subscriptions. Pricing starts at less than $.01 per ASIN, UPC, or EAN. The more credits that you purchase, the lower the cost per item will be.
There is no monthly fee for using MarketScout. MarketScout is priced on a pay-per-use model.
One MarketScout credit is equivalent to one lookup for one ASIN, UPC, or EAN. If no records show after loading your report, then a credit will not be deducted for that item. With the free trial, you get 100 credits. This means that your first 100 ASINs are free.
MarketScout credits expire one year from the date of purchase. Most sellers use all of their credits within that time frame, and many sellers purchase more.
Although MarketScout may be most useful for Amazon FBA sellers, anyone who sells on Amazon could benefit from using MarketScout.
