We’ve recently had a few questions about our Amazon product research software, MarketScout. Since the pricing model is a little different than our other tools, we wanted to provide a quick overview of how it works and how it can save you hours of valuable time.
Instead of paying for a monthly plan, you only pay for MarketScout credits when you need them. Credits are valid for an entire year from your purchase date. Conducting a SKU lookup and competitor analysis on one item takes one credit. If you receive a catalog from a new supplier, you can quickly get the competitive intelligence you need to make purchasing decisions.
Scout credits are available in three levels: Starter, Pro and Ultimate. The Starter plan includes 10,000 credits for $100 (which breaks down to a penny per credit), and the prices drop even more with the larger plans. Since all credits are good for a year after the purchase date, you’ll have plenty of time to use yours!
Conducting SKU research can take hours of your time. Even if you hire someone to help you, the time it takes to find all the details you need about each item could be better spent on more profitable tasks.

Researching SKUs has never been easier!
Getting started with MarketScout is simple. Create a .CSV of the SKUs, ASINs or EANs you’d like to look up, along with item cost, and upload it to MarketScout. Setup is easy—there’s even a .CSV template available in the tool!
Within a few minutes, you’ll receive an email when your MarketScout report is complete. You can choose to view your report in MarketScout or download a .CSV file. Either version will allow you to sort data by column so you can find the information that matters most to you.
