Text Alerts for Negative and Neutral Feedback

by Jonathan Tombes, on April 6, 2014

How do you prefer to hear about negative or neutral ratings? (Apart from as infrequently as possible!)

Whether you’re organized for rapid response or have a specific time set aside for feedback management, you can sign up for automated feedback alerts from FeedbackFive.

Alerts Tailored to Your Needs

Is text the best way to reach you, or would you rather receive an email? Do you want to receive a message each time you receive a negative or neutral rating, or would you prefer a daily digest? Would you like alerts for seller feedback?

If you are a FeedbackFive user at the Pro plan level (or above), you can choose to receive automated alerts when you receive negative or neutral feedback. You can customize the alerts to your needs, from setting a time frame for receiving text messages to choosing whether to receive individual email alerts or a daily digest.

Connect with Customers

How would you react if you left a negative rating for an item, only to have a sincere response from the company within minutes? By signing up to receive email or text alerts for negative or neutral ratings, you can ensure that you respond to your customers quickly to make things right whenever possible. By providing a positive follow up to a not-so-great experience, you may be able to win your buyer over and turn the experience around for them.

If you’re a private label seller, monitoring product reviews can be especially effective. It’s a fantastic way to find out how customers are responding to your items. It can also provide key insight into the user experience, possibly influencing changes that could result in even more success for your product.

How To Enable Notifications

Setting up text or email alerts for negative or neutral ratings is simple. Sign into your FeedbackFive account and go to the Options page. On the Alerts tab, you can set up email or text notifications. Choose whether you’d like to receive alerts for seller feedback. Determine when and how you’d prefer to receive those notifications. If you are enabling mobile alerts, be sure to have your device nearby. You’ll receive a text alert with a verification number as part of the set-up process. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to save your preferences.
