Three Ways Your Emails Can Bring Your Customers a :)

by Colleen Quattlebaum

Positive seller feedback and product reviews can provide the social currency your Amazon business needs for increased sales.

Successful merchants continually work to build their seller reputations and awareness of their brands. Our FeedbackFive app helps by automating feedback solicitation requests, product review requests and more, depending on each seller's needs.

In this post, we'll take a look at three powerful (and fun!) ways you can make the most of your feedback solicitation emails with FeedbackFive.

Find Your Theme

FeedbackFive’s searchable template gallery makes it fast and easy to find an email template for any occasion you can think of. Our professional graphic designers are continually adding new designs to the gallery. We always welcome customer feedback, so if you’re looking for a seasonal or another kind of template that isn’t available yet, request your idea here.

Your email design page will display your current template at the top of the page, followed by templates that our team has highlighted, and commonly used templates. To access the new searchable template gallery, simply click “see more” at the bottom of the page. You can then select your next email template by category. A fresh and distinctive theme is easy on your customer's eye and adds a personal element to your seller feedback and product review request emails.

Say It With Emojis

Our customers have been requesting a feature that will allow them to include emojis in email subject lines, and we’ve delivered. Research shows that buyers are more likely to open these emails; in fact, a report by Experian showed a 56% increase in unique open rates when emojis were included. These small icons have become very prevalent in text conversations, providing a new way to connect in the absence of in person communication. It stands to reason that incorporating emojis into emails gives sellers another avenue for connecting with buyers. Increased email open rates could lead to more seller feedback and product reviews for your Amazon store.

Emojis may help your email stand out in a crowded inbox. If you’re interested in incorporating emojis into your subject lines, begin by conducting A/B testing to see whether your emails receive more opens with or without an emoji, and then to see which emojis perform best with your client base. If possible, incorporate an emoji that is related to the product sold, such as a Christmas tree for holiday ornaments.

The last thing you want is for your customers to receive an email with an unknown symbol in the subject line, as they may dismiss it as spam. That's why all of our emojis were tested through the Amazon Buyer-Seller Messaging Service to make sure that they are supported by the Amazon API.

Add Personal Touches

FeedbackFive’s flexible email templates make it easy to add your own personal spin to seller feedback and product review requests. Shortcut tags allow you to instantly add items such as product images that include a hyperlink to your product listing on the Amazon marketplace, order details, your company information and much more.

Depending on the items in your inventory, you may want to consider including a special free gift for your customer to enhance the buyer experience. You can include a downloadable PDF with information related to your item, such as a book of recipes for a kitchen item or styling tips for apparel. Your customers will appreciate the additional value and may be more inclined to take the time to leave you seller feedback or a product review.

Connecting with your buyers significantly increases the odds that they will take the time to leave a product review or seller feedback for your business. FeedbackFive takes the guesswork out of feedback solicitation by automating the process for merchants. Customizing your emails within FeedbackFive provides a personal touch.
