The Fulfillment by Amazon program will be hosting the second Boost with FBA event in New Orleans, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. The event will feature presentations from FBA experts and industry leaders, networking with other Amazon sellers and one-on-one personalized support from Seller Support. This unique event is completely focused on seller success.
In his 2017 Letter to Shareholders, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos noted, “In 2017, for the first time in our history, more than half of the units sold on Amazon worldwide were from our third-party sellers.” He also shared that Amazon sellers shipped billions of items all over the world using the FBA program last year. With two million third-party sellers, the Amazon marketplace continues to grow and become more competitive. If you want to amp up your Amazon business, attending the Boost with FBA event is a great opportunity.
Who Can Attend?
FBA sellers at all levels are invited to attend the Boost with FBA event. Learn about the latest tools and techniques for Amazon sellers. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s best to register soon if you plan to attend. Registration will close at midnight PT on June 8, 2018 unless the event sells out prior to that date. You may register to bring a guest. Note that only registered individuals may attend the event and the pre-event Welcome Reception on June 19, 2018.
At last year’s inaugural Boost with FBA event in New York, sellers in attendance learned a lot about branding and brand registry. They were also the first to know the date for Prime Day 2017, as it was announced during the event. Due to the event timing just a few weeks before Prime Day typically falls in July, it seems likely that this will be the case for 2018 as well.
For the 2018 event, the keynote speaker is Mark Mitchke, Vice President, Fulfillment by Amazon and Amazon Global Selling. Mitchke will give an overview of the expanding opportunities for FBA sellers to succeed on the Amazon marketplace. There are a long list of other presentations to help sellers succeed. Here’s a quick peek at the agenda:
Managing Your Inventory Health
Preventing and Managing Customer Returns
Managing Your Listings
Supply Chain Management and Reducing Shipment Discrepancies
More Ways to Make the Most of Prime
Increasing Product Visibility
Paid Account Management
Lower Fulfillment Costs with FBA Small and Light
Amazon Brand Registry
Enhanced Brand Content
