What time should I send my FeedbackFive emails?

Morning and evening times generally work well, but test to see what works best for your audience.

General Guidelines

Most sellers see good results from sending emails in the morning (between 6:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M.) or the evening (between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.) This is because buyers are more likely to check their personal email inboxes outside of work hours.

However, each audience is different, so you should experiment with different times to see at which time your audience responds best. Occasionally, sellers have a specific audience that responds better in the middle of the day. For example, buyers of baby products are more likely to be stay-at-home parents with infants who nap during the afternoon, so 2:00 P.M. might be a good time to send emails for these products.

Ultimately, testing one time for about 30 days and then testing a different time for about 30 days is the best way to determine what time works best for your audience.

Time Zones

FeedbackFive is based on U.S. Eastern Standard Time / Eastern Daylight Time. There are three other times zones in North America, and the Amazon marketplaces in the U.K., the E.U., India and Australia each have their own time zone(s). Additionally, many countries or parts of countries observe Daylight Saving Time, but not all.

Simple Year-Round Send Time Guidelines

The times below approximately correspond to “before work” and “after work” times of day in the various marketplaces year-round:

  • For the U.S., Canada and Mexico, send between 6:00 and 9:00 A.M. or 7:00 and 9:00 P.M.
  • For the U.K., send between 2:00 and 4:00 A.M. or 2:00 and 4:00 P.M.
  • For the other European marketplaces, send between 1:00 and 3:00 A.M. or 1:00 and 3:00 P.M.
  • For India, send at 10:00 P.M. or 11:00 P.M. the previous day, 12:00 A.M. on the desired day or at 7:00 A.M., 8:00 A.M. or 9:00 A.M. on the desired day.
  • For Australia, try 6:00 P.M. the previous day or between 4:00 and 6:00 A.M. on the desired day.
